With growing business transactions and the expansion of various umbrella brands internationally, the storage of records and data become increasingly harder to manage, making it difficult for cross-division analysts and operations staff to retrieve data from poorly indexed sources and prepare reports.

The main solution was to develop a Business Intelligence using SharePoint Enterprise, which has a few processes in the development breakdown.

Data was integrated with the existing JDE system, while an OLAP cube was built using SSAS alongside a self-service style Business Intelligence for the Finance Department. This allows the department to build reports according to user requirements and set KPIs based on sales targets.

The overall scope of the various projects included Data Design and Definition, Data Integration (SSIS Development), Cube Development and Reports (Charts, KPIs, Scorecards, and Dashboards).
